Warning! Are You Lukewarm?

This is a letter that a brother in Christ wrote to his Church.  He wanted to read to the congregation, however the Pastor would not allow him to read it.  I believe it is an exhortation we all need to hear.  Read it for yourself and examine your heart, as I have, to see if you are in the faith.  May God use this to wake us all up!

 

I wanted to thank everybody here, for being so kind through out the years, and I hope that today we can spend a little extra time in the presence of the Lord. For I didn't want to leave you without sharing the grievous things the Lord has put on my heart concerning modern American Christianity. I am coming to you in a spirit of humility, its not easy to speak the truth but if I love you as a brother in the Lord I must exhort you with what the Lord has given me. I am not speaking on my behalf but on behalf of the beautiful pure unadulterated word of God. Being a Christian is not easy, you are going to step on the toes of the hard hearted but to those who want truth in this lost fake world they will hear the Lords voice and come. Please don't think of this as anything but love which is truth.  Most people in this generation have turned the grace of God into a license for immorality. God gives grace to the humble and resists the proud God hates pride!. Some desire to have their best life now, but Jesus says Those who love their life in this world will lose it! Those who despise their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. (John 12:25) Our best life isn't now, it's in heaven granted you get there. A seed must first fall to the ground and die otherwise it can not grow. God can do nothing with us until we get out of the way and make room for the Holy Spirit. God doesn't dwell in self centered self seeking vessels. He loves those who love Him and those who seek Him diligently will find Him.(Prv.8:17). Stand by your faith, do not be conceited but fear (God), for if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. Behold then the kindness and severity of God. To those who fell, severity, but to you God's kindness "IF" you continue in his kindness, other wise, you also will be cut off. (Romans 11:20-22). You don't just say a little prayer, and think that just because you've said the prayer you are saved, the Bible doesn't teach once saved always saved. But rather it teaches that you are being saved and being sanctified by His word and Jesus says " If anyone wishes to come after Me let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. "For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's shall save it. "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? "For what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."(Mark8:34-38). And He wasn't just speaking to His disciples there He also summoned the multitudes when He gave that seeker friendly lovey message. God is looking for complete surrender for you were bought at a high price. God crucified himself for are wretched, vile, disgusting sins. Woe! to us if we think that we can have our cake and eat it too. You must count the cost, best life now, or You will be hated by all for My names sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved. (Mathew 10:22). Brother Ravenhill said it well, "How is it that the world can get along with you and me just fine, but it couldn't get along with the holiest man ever to walk the face of the earth, have we compromised? Are we of no spiritual stature." If you are not grieved at what modern day American Christianity has become there is a good chance that 1) you are not born again of the Spirit of God 2) You are not reading his word which sanctifies you and gives you new life! We must become new creatures in Christ. We cannot trample on the blood of Christ and treat it as common and unholy. God says be holy for I am holy. If you are a friend of the world, you are an enemy of God. (James 4:4). Remember the prince of this world is Satan until the Lord returns to put him in chains. All satan needs to do is get us off the pure word of the Spirit or get us off by some false doctrine which mascaraed itself as saying come to Christ and your life will be great and you will be blessed with riches, your life will be just wonderful NO! Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful "pride" of life is not from the father, but is of the world, and the world is passing away with it's lusts but he who does the will of God abides forever.(1John 2:15-17). Now days you see worldly minded people devoid of Spirit not only causing divisions cause they suppress the truth(Jude 19), but they are also trying to build the church by inventing new, fun, fresh, exciting ways of bringing people in. There is a way that seems right to a man but it's end is the way of death. (Prvbs.14:12). God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He doesn't change his word and we don't build His church, He does, and the gates of hell will not prevail against the church that He builds. It is the Christians duty to share the truth out of love and let Gods word Jesus do the sorting out of the wheat from the weeds. Another dear brother Joe Schimmel said "Men, are you truly a believer? I mean why are we here today? What a waste of time if we are not serious about God to even be here. You're wasting your time you might as well have some fun before you go to hell, you know before you burn for ever and ever and ever you might as well have some fun. If you're not serious about God get out of here go! have fun you're gonna burn anyway! If you're here because you want to follow the Lord and be serious about him and be heaven bound, lets be serious and do what He says, and train up our children." Remember to fear God not man, for God has not given us a spirit of fear of man!!! But we are surely to fear Him who can cast both body and soul into hell, not man who can only harm your body. And indeed all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.(2 Tim.12). Know the sacred writings (Bible) which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.(2Tim.15). Preach the word in season and out of season; reprove rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths. But you (oh Christian) be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. Is your treasure in Heaven? or here in this fallen evil world? God revealed to me about a year ago that we are the lukewarm church and if we don't repent and return to Christ our first love with everything in us humility, diligence, passion, faith, repentance ect... He will vomit us out of His mouth. There are warnings all through out the scriptures to believers this is serious! God does love you but somewhere along the way people forgot what God's love is its TRUTH!!! and if you love your life and are clinging to your life you will harden your heart against the truth. If this doesn't put the fear of the Lord in you I don't know what will, "(Hebrews 10:26-31) For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain terrifying expectation of judgment, and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of Grace? For we know Him who said, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY." And again, "THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE." It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living GOD!!! Read your Bible everyday I don't care if you have read it 90 times keep reading & praying and seeking with all diligence, cause our adversary is like a roaring lion waiting to devour one of us(1Peter 5:8)! We must put on the full body armor (Eph.6:13-18) everyday. We cannot serve two masters (world & God) for we will end up hating one and loving the other. "If anyone advocates a different doctrine, and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing.....But godliness actually is a means of great gain, when accompanied by contentment. For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. And if we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. But those who want to get rich (boastful pride of life unhumble) fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many a pang. But flee from these things, you man of GOD; and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.(1Timothy 6:3-11) We must repent! turn from sin which is disobedience to God, crucify our flesh pick up our cross and keep our eyes on JESUS! or we will sink like our dear brother Peter did when he walked on water. For the spirit is strong but the flesh is weak. We must not want to come to church and have our ears tickled and get all sensual and feel good about ourselves we have fallen and the only way God can save us is if we go to the cross & crucify our old self and become a new creature in Christ & remember (John 3:5) "Truly, truly, I say to you unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." We must get away from preaching just (John 3:16) fluff and tell them the whole truth of the gospel. Remember one of the reasons the Pharisee's were hypocrites, "For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me. "But if you do not believe his writings (Bible) how will you believe My words?" Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you-unless indeed you fail the test.(2Cor.13:5) People there is so much trash out there masking itself as Christian, I don't know about you but it grieves me deeply what I see when I go into a Christian bookstore! If JESUS were to walk in there He would probably take His pure unadulterated Bibles and set the rest ablaze with His righteous anger as He rightly so displayed at the Temple of God!!! Don't you notice that American Christianity is starting to look just like the world minus the swear words? We as Christians should want to be different than this lost wicked fallen world. I mean come on we have gone way to far there is a war going on for peoples souls and here we spoiled American Christians are, going to Christian rock concerts rocking out for Christ, going on missionary vacations, putting market places in our temples, going to Christian comedy shows, Christian nightclubs & most don't even share the gospel cause someone along the way told them that not everyone has that gift, baloney!  I'm sorry if you want to love your life in this world or covet the ways of the world go back to the world, cause the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few and the time is short!!! The world death rate is 56 million per year, 153 thousand per day, 6,390 per hour, 107 per minute, 1.78 per second that is almost 2 people per second slip into eternity! So lets just have are best life now and be ashamed of sharing the gospel cause we are afraid of what people might say or think of us. "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. "If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. "Remember the word that I said to you, A slave is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also.(John 15:18-20) People in the so called third world countries are still having revivals, miracles, beatings, imprisonments, heads chopped off ect.., while we just rock out for Christ!!! We are running and we are not even being chased, they are being chased and they are not running! "If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, how will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?(Jeremiah 12:5) AWAKE, awake, Cloth yourself in your strength, O Zion (Christians)!!! His perfect love cast out their fears, but if that Love is not perfected in us we will fail. Remember Jesus said "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.(John 14:27) Don't mistake what love is! What sounds more loving? 1.) Hey man God loves you! or 2.) Hey man there is a God and He loves you so much that He was slaughtered on a cross for your sins, but if you don't realize that you are a sinner still under the wrath of God, and destined for hell unless you repent turn from sin and put your faith in Jesus there is no hope for you. But if you cry out to Him to forgive you and fill you with His Spirit so you can be a new person, believe in Him and put your faith in Him you can be saved. People we can't just go get indoctrinated at some fancy apostate seminary and teach! We must be saved filled with the Holy Spirit who is the Great Counselor. THEREFORE, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lust of men, but for the will of God. For the time has already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of sensuality, lust, drunkenness, carousals, drinking parties and abominable idolatry's. And in all this, they are surprised that you do not run with them into the same excess of dissipation, and they malign you; but they shall give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.(1Peter 4:1-5) We can do nothing without Him. He is willing and able to fix us if we would just let Him, but we have to first move out of the way and stop doing things in our own power. These are the perilous times Christ warned us about! Most in this country are holding to a form of godliness, but they have denied its power; and we are to avoid such as these!!! read (2Timothy 3:1-5) NOW we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to Him, that you may not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in anyway deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.(2 Thessalonians 2:1-4) For all of you that have been deceived into believing that we are all going to be sucked up and feasting through the time of Jacobs troubles, you might want to read that one again slowly, and also read the rest of the Bible. He is not coming until the last trumpet, line up the trumpets and you will see that He is coming pre wrath not pre tribulation. Also if you look in Daniel 12 & Revelation 12 it seems as if Michael the ark angel is the restrainer! not the church or the Holy Spirit. Don't be deceived be prepared to face persecution, & beware of the leaven of the Pharisee's & also beware of the Pope cause the Jesuits (or Masons or same satanic forces that have ruled through the Empires all throughout world hist.) have infiltrated and the antichrist is almost ready to be revealed! With the ecumenical movement in full swing, the great apostasy in the churches, the love of many growing cold, the revived Roman Empire(E.U.), Israel back in the land surrounded by her enemies, the Kings of the north coming together for war, the N.W.O., the push for globalization, R.F.I.D's, increase in natural disasters, false signs and lieing wonders (apparitions of Mary, U.F.O's, mind control, star wars technology, ect.ect.), the U.N. rebuilding of the tower of Babel with a monument inside which says we will get it right this time, the Sanhedrin reinstated in 04, the Jews having the temple ready to be built with the inners already made saying it could be built within a years time when ever they get there false peace, acceptability of every liberal new age satanic idea, everything is becoming ok just as it was in Sodom and Gomorrah! UH OH!!! I think we ought to quit playing church and start warning one another to put on strength!
